The Reynolds correspondent of the Macon Telegraph says: Mr. P.B. Griffith and
Miss Lizzie Bryant were married at the residence of Dr. T.O. Powell, of
Milledgeville, Tuesday at three o’clock, Rev. I.F. Griffith, brother of the
groom, officiating.  They were tendered an elegant reception on Wednesday
evening at this place by his mother.  No social event has taken place here which
passed off more pleasantly and agreeable to the large party present than this
one.  The bride, who is from Camden, S.C., is a most beautiful and accomplished
lady, and will be a valuable addition to our society.  The groom, Mr. Griffith
is well-known and universally liked for his many sterling qualities and fine
business capacity.  They commence their new life with best wishes of a host of
friends.
