Banks County Deed Book A, page 266

State of Georgia     }  This Indenture made and entered into this the twenty 
Banks County         }   seventh day of December Eighteen hundred and sixty 
four between William Crow of the county and State aforesaid of the one part and 
Asa Crow of the same place of the other part witness that for and in 
consideration of the sum of five to me in hand paid at and before the sealing 
and delivery of these presents will as for and in consideration of the natural 
love and affection which I have and bear to my son the said Asa Crow I have 
this day granted bargained and sold and by these presents do grant bargain sell 
and convey unto the said Asa Crow his heirs Executors Administrators and 
assigns all that tract or parcel of land situated lying and being in the county 
of Banks State of Georgia on the waters of nails Creek containing one hundred 
and seventy nine acres more of less it being the place where on I now live 
bounded as follows (to wit) adjoining Lands of Lena Vaughn William Hix William 
Strange Lara Crows land as will appear by former deeds to said land made to me 
it being the entire primises where on I now live, this deed to gather with all 
and singular the rights members and appertainances there unto belonging unto 
the said Asa Crow his heirs and assigns forever in fee simple Subject to the 
following conditions that I the said William Crow am to have the full use and 
enjoyment of Said tract of land for and during my natural life and at my death 
the said Asa Crow is to have a fee simple right to the same and the said 
William Crow for himself his heirs and assigns will forever warrant and defend 
the title to the same from the claim of himself his heirs Executors 
Administrators and assigns and from the claim of all other persons whomsoever 
in witness whereof the said William Crow has here unto affixed his hand and 
seal the day and year above written.
