D. One thousand Eight hundred and Fifty-Six between Wm. Crow of the one part and Jessee M Crow of the other part both of the county and State aforesaid Witnesseth that for and in consideration of the Sum of Two Hundred and Fifty dollars to him the Said Wm Crow in hand paid by the Said Jessee M Crow the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath bargained Sold and conveyed and doth by these presents bargain Sell and convey unto the Said Jessee his heirs and assigns a certain tract or parcel cituated lying and being in the Said county on the waters of Nails creek it being a part of a six hundred acre Survey originally granted to Christopher Clark, containing fifty five acres more or less having Such Shape & marks as follows beginning at a Stake N 89 W 33 ch P.O. thence N 4 E 7 Stake thence S 80 W 6.50 _____ thence N 83 ½ E 10 ch B.O. Small, N 71 ½ E 10 ch Pine thence S 60 E 15=50 Stake Thence N 89. E 13 W.O. thence along Bakers old line to beginning to have and to hold Said tract or parcel of land together with all and singular the rights members and appurtenances thereunto belonging or in any wise arising therefrom to him his heirs and assigns own proper use benefit and behoof forever in fee simple and I the Said William Crow for myself my heirs executors & administrators will well and forever defend the right and title of the Same from ourselves and against the claim of all other persons whatever in testimony whereof I hereunto Set my hand and affix my Seal the day and year above writen } in presents of } his Allen T Garrison } Wm x Crow David Caudell } mark Georgia } Personally came David Caudell before me an acting Justice Franklin County } of the peace in and for Said county – who after being Duly Sworn deposeth and Sayeth upon oath that he Saw William Crow Sign Seal and deliver the within presents and that he Saw Allen S.
