State of Georgia}  This Indenture made this Twentyseventh day February Eighteen
Banks  County   }  hundred and Sixty two between John Pruitt of the one part 
and Empson Pruitt of the other part both of Said State and County Witnesseth 
that the said John Pruitt for and in consideration of the Sum of Two Hundred 
Dollars to him in hand paid by the Said Emson Pruitt the receipt whereof is 
hereby acknowledged does by these presents give Grant Bargain Sell and convey 
unto the Said Emson Pruitt his heirs and assigns a certain Lot of Land in the 
County of Banks and State of Georgia Known and distinguished in the plan of 
Said County Lying on Webbs Creek having such Shape and marks as follows being 
one hundred acres more or less Beginning on a line between the said John Pruett 
and Thomas N Garrison about thirty yards up the Hill on the north side of the 
hollow north north 39 W. 40. thence along Said Garrisons line to a pine corner 
thence along said line to a whiteoak corner thence along Said Line to a Poast 
oak corner thence along said line to a whiteoak oak corner thence up Said Creek 
on the North Side to a Sweet Gum corner thence up the Spring branch to a black 
gum corner thence up the Hill to a black oak thence from that up the creek to 
when the old road crosses the line north 64 E to a white oak thence South 15 E. 
5. c. 80 links A.P. oak corner thence East 35. to a pine corner thence 
conditional Start line the beginning corner on Garrisons line to the Big Hollow 
together with all the privileges thereto in anywise appertaining to have and to 
hold the above granted premises to the Said Empson Pruett his heirs and assigns 
in fee simple and the Said John Pruitt will and his heirs his Executors & 
administrators Shall the Said property to the Said Emson Pruitt his heirs 
Executors and administrators forever warrant and defend against the lawfull 
demands of all persons whatever in testimony whereof the Said John Pruitt has 
hereto Set his hand and Seal this day and year above written
