Georgia          }  I Thomas A Carlan a son and heir at law of John B Carlan 
Franklin County  }  late of Said county deceased do hereby give and relinquish 
all right claims and title to two fifths interest viz my own personal interest 
and also the interest which I have purchased from James D. Carlan who is also 
an heir at law in Said estate in the dowery part of the land of the estate of J 
B Carlan deceased the same being all the right title claim and interest Said T 
A Carlan & J. D. Carlan does can or could have in Said Dowery lands unto the 
Said David A Carlan for and in consideration of the Said of One Hundred Dollars 
to him in hand paid the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged the Same is 
hereby relinquished by said T A Carlan heirs &c as aforesaid for himself his 
heirs and assigns forever
In testimony whereof I have hereunto Set my hand & Seal this the 19th day of 
March 1880
