State of Georgia, Banks County.

	This Indenture, Made the Sixteenth day of January in the year of our 
Lord One Thousand Eight Hundred and Ninety four between John W Prewett County 
of Banks and State of Georgia, of the First Part, and John M. Prewett, of the 
County of Banks and State of Georgia of the Second Part:  Witnesseth, That the 
said party of the First Part, for and in consideration of the sum of five 
Dollars together with the love and affection he has for his Son the said John 
M. Dollars in hand paid, at and before the sealing and delivery of these 
presents, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, has granted, bargained, 
sold, aliened, conveyed and confirmed, and by these presents does grant, give, 
bargain, sell, alien, convey and confirm unto the said party of the Second 
Part, his heirs and assigns, all the following described property, to-wit:  the 
County & State aforesaid for and during his natural life at his death to go to 
his children that he may leave at his death.  Commencing at the mouth of the 
ditch on the Grove River at H. L. Rays Corner thence down the meanderings of 
the Grove River to a beach on the eastern Bank of the river Some one hundred or 
one hundred & fifty years above what is known as the sand pond thence across 
the ridge to a sugar maple on the western side of the River thence up the old 
run of the river to fifty yards above the mouth of the branch to a corner that 
I have hereto fore given to my Daughter Mrs. L. A. Dorough thence with the said 
L. A. Dorough line as surveyed by L N Fisk up the branch until it strikes T. B. 
Rays line thence along said T B Rays line in a Western direction to the old 
shop thence with H L Rays line to the Beginning Corner at the mouth of the 
ditch on the river suppose to contain Seventy five acres more or less.
