This Indenture made & entered into this (illegible) day November one thousand eighteen hundred and seventy one between George W. Pool of the one part and James Connally of the other part both of the county & state aforesaid witnesseth for and in consideration of the sum of two hundred dollars to him in hand paid to the said James Connally the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath this day bargained granted and sold and by these presents do bargain sell and convey unto the said Connally all that tract or parcel of land lying and being in the State & County above writen on the waters of Little Creek adjoining lands of E. T. Wilmont & others beginning on Hickry cr running S 84 E 5 to a Spanish oak thence South (illegible) 11 C to a oak cr. thence North 67 W 14 c 50 l to a w ok cr on the Creek thence up the meandering of the Creek to a poplar cr on side Creek thence N 58 E 55 C to a red oak cr thence S 35 E 22 ch to a Stake cr thence S 56 W 24 ch to the beginning corner containing one hundred fourteen & a half acres more or less together with all the rights members and appurtenances thereunto belonging or any way belonging to have or to hold the above described lot of land unto him the said James S Connally his heirs & assigns & against all lawful claims of any person whatsoever to this or his own proper use and benefit for ever in fee simple his heirs & assigns the said give & granted premises unto the sd James S Connally his heirs and assigns will warrant and forever defend the right & title thereof against themsels & against the claims of all other persons whichsoever in testimony the said George W Pool hath hereunto set his hand and affixed his seal the day & year first written Signed Sealed and delivered in presence of George W. Pool W. A. Quillian Wesley T Garrison Georgia In person appeared before me W A Quillian who on oath says that the Jackson County George W.
