Banks County GA., Oct. 28, 1898 
 
   On November 1st 1900 after date, I promise to pay to the order of The  
Georgia Loan and Trust Company, 
at it's office in Macon, GA., 
 
Fifty four and 17/100--------------DOLLARS IN UNITED STATES GOLD COIN OR IT'S  
EQUIVALENT, 
 
Value received, with interest from January 1st. 1899 at 8 per cent. per annum  
together with Ten(10) per cent. in the whole amount for Attorney's fees, which  
the parties to this contract agree to pay if this Note is placed in the hands  
of an Attorney for collection.  We, and each of us, whether Makers, Securities,  
or Endorsers, hereby severally waive notice and--?--, and all right to benefit  
of Exemption and Homestead. 
 
This note is given for part purchase money of PRITCHETT place Banks County  
Georgia.

Document front stamped with large purple stamp of H. & T.E. ATKINS Bankers  
MAYSVILLE GA and dated Nov. 1, 1900 
 
Document Back has a 2 cent Document Tax stamp affixed.  Written in pencil on  
the stamp is "J.M.M. 10/28/98" 
Below the stamp in pencil is written "2155 Pritchett C/283"
