Wright, an aged and a large planter who lives near Banksville, in Banks county, was the victim of a merciless attack made by a ferocious Jersey bull last Sunday. Mr. Wright owns many cattle and while he was walking among them Sunday morning he was attacked by a mad bull, thrown to the ground and nearly killed. When found he was in an unconscious condition. The bull was still standing over him, pawing the earth. The body of Mr. Wright was almost covered with the earth that the bull had pawed up and thrown on him. But for the fact that the bull had been dehorned it would have gored Mr. Wright to death. Mr. Wright has gained consciousness and it is thought that he will finally recover. Additional Comments: Prior H. Wright, July 10 1823-Oct. 10 1910, is buried in the Hebron Presbyterian Church cemetery in Banks County.
