Anderson Independent - June 11, 1974
Mrs. Elizabeth "Lizzie" Ariail, 88, of Maysville, died at BJC Hospital Monday 
morning following a brief illness.
Born in Banks County, GA, she was a daughter of the late David W. and Mary 
Kesler Garrison and was also preceded in death by her husbnad, Joseph A. 
Ariail, Sr. She was a member of Maysville Baptist Church.
Surviving are 4 daughters:  Mrs. Thelma Ellison, Cornelia, GA; Mrs. Daniel 
(Marcelle) Haines of Stone Mountain, Ga; Mrs. Marvin (Jeanette) Fleming of 
Decatur, GA; Mrs. Joseph T. (Annette) Radford, Jr., Augusta, GA.  2 sons:  J. 
A. Ariail, Jr., Villa Rica, GA; & H. L. Ariail, Sr. of Sparta, GA.  1 brother:
Dr. D. H> Garrison of Clarkesville, GA; 1 sister, Mrs. Fred B. James of 
Atlanta, GA.  11 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 11, 1974 at 3 p.m. at Maysville 
Baptist Church by Rev. W. J. Reynolds and Rev. Robert H. Scruton.  Burial will 
be in Sunrise Cemetery.
Little-Ward Funeral Home, Commerce, GA.

Mary Kesler Garrison was daughter of William Henry Kesler and Elizabeth Juda 
Poole.
