Joseph Albert Ariail, Sr. 86, of Maysville, GA died Thursday, Dec. 30, 1965 at 
the BJC Hospital.
Mr. Ariail was born in Banks County, GA on August 30, 1879, a son of the late 
Leland H. and Lettie Duncan ariail.  He was a member of Maysville Baptist 
Church and Maysville Masonic Lodge # 347.
Survivors:  widow, Mrs. Orpha Elizabeth Garrison Ariail of the home; 2 sons: 
Joseph A. Ariail, Jr. of Villa Rica, GA and Henry L. Ariail of Sparta, GA.  4 
daughters: Mrs. Thelma Ellison of Cornelia, GA, Mrs. Daniel Marcelle) Haines 
and Mrs. J. Marvin (Jeanette) Fleming, both of Decatur, GA & Mrs. Joseph T. 
(Annette) Radford, Jr. of Augusta, GA.  11 grandchildren and 5 great 
grandchildren.  1 brother: Claude Ariail of Carnesville, GA.  4 sisters:  Mrs. 
Blanche S. Robinson of East Point, GA; Mrs. Georgia Bolding and Mrs. Lucy 
Fleming both of Lula, GA and Mrs. Bessie Garrison  of Athens, GA.
Funeral services will be at 2:30 pm Friday,Dec. 31, 1965 at Maysville Baptist 
Church with Rev. Bryan Edwards officiating.  Burial will be in Sunrise 
Cemetery.
