MRS. MARY AUSBURN
CORNELIA, Ga. - Mrs. Mary Free Ausburn, 98, of Easley, S.C., formerly of Banks 
County, Ga., widow of William Ausburn, died Friday at Alta Vista Nursing Home, 
Easley.

Born in Banks County, she was a daughter of the late Harmon and Clementine 
Roberts Free.  She was a member of of Damascus Baptist Church.

Surviving are sons, Claude and Fred Ausburn of Baldwin and Vance Ausburn of 
Greenville, S.C.; daughters, Mrs. Ellis Hall of Greenville, Mrs. Connie 
Hawkins of Hayward, Calif., Mrs. Lake Masters of Easley; 29 grandchildren; 56 
great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren.

Services at 2 p.m. Sunday at McGahee-Griffin Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. 
Lester Palmer.  Burial in Damascus Baptist Church Cemetery, Banks County.

The body is at the funeral home.  The family is at the home of Harold Caudell, 
Baldwin.
