Annese Caudell, 85, of Homer, died Thursday, August 10, 2006, at a private 
care facility.

She was born on September 26, 1920, in Banks County, and was the daughter of 
the late Luther C. and Mary Etta Caudell. She was a retired seamstress and 
also worked with Yonah Realty Company with several years of service. She was a 
member of the Damascus Baptist Church. Mrs. Caudell was preceded in death by a 
brother, Broadus Caudell.

Survivors include sisters, Louise Short, Cornelia, and Kitty Caudell, Baldwin; 
brothers, Buford Caudell, Homer, and Dewey Winfred Caudell, Mt. Airy; and a 
number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Saturday, August 12, at the Whitfield Funeral Home, 
South Chapel, with the Revs. Roy Rogers and Gene Todd officiating. Burial was 
in the Union Hill Baptist Church cemetery.

Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel, Baldwin, was in charge of arrangements.
