Mrs. R. L. Cotton

Gillsville, Ga. - Mrs. Ada Cotton, 84, of Rt. 1, Gillsville, died about 7:30 
a.m. Thursday at her residence following an extended illness.

Mrs. Cotton was born in Franklin County April 29, 1881, daughter of the late 
Jeff and Mary Murray Segars.

Survivors: her husband, Robert L. Cotton; two daughters, Mrs. Bell Brock of 
Maysville and Mrs. Mattie Partin of Rt. 3, Carnesville; three sons, George and 
Herman Cotton both of Gillsville and Rudess Cotton of Maysville; 38 
grandchildren; a brother, Lone Segars of Toccoa; two sisters, Mrs. Lula 
Lewallen of Commerce and Mrs. Fannie Segars of Rt. 1, Lavonia.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Friday at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church 
with the Rev. Clayton Jones officiating.  Burial in the church cemetery.

The body is at the residence.

Little-Ward Funeral Home of Commerce in charge.
