Dr. David Harrison Garrison, 89, of Clarkesville, GA, husband of the late 
Bertha Williams Garrison, died Thursday, March 30, 1978 at Habersham Medical 
Center after a long. illness.
Born in Banks County, GA he was a son of the late David Washington and Mary 
Kesler Garrison.  He had been a medical doctor for 60 years and had lived in 
Habersham County for 43 years.  He was a graduate of Emory University Medical 
School.  He was a member of Clarkesville United Meth. Church and Clarkesville 
Lodge # 325 F & AM.  He was a 32nd degree Scottish Rite Mason and an emeritus 
member of the Order of Easter Star, Chapter # 276.  He was a World War 1 
veteran.
Surviving are son:  Dr. David Marius Garrison of Seneca, SC; daughter, Mrs. 
Ramona Hunt of Clarkesville, GA; sister, Mrs. Annie G. James of East Point, 
GA. and 4 grandchildren.

Dr. Garrison's mother was a daughter of William Henry Kesler and Eliabeth Juda 
Poole.
