Helen Miller Harbin, 85, of Commerce, died Friday, November 3, 2006, at Athens 
Regional Medical Center, Athens.

She was born in Banks County on February 6, 1921, and was the daughter of the 
late William F. and Ada Ragsdale Miller. She was a retired elementary school 
teacher and a member of the First United Methodist Church of Commerce. Mrs. 
Harbin was preceded in death by her husband, Hoyt H. Harbin.

Survivors include sons and daughters-in-law, Bryan and Judy Harbin, Commerce, 
and Keith and Shonda Harbin, Hull; daughter and son-in-law, Nancy and Gary 
Butler, Covington; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Sunday, November 5, at the First United Methodist 
Church of Commerce with Dr. David Bowen officiating. Burial was at Jackson 
Memorial Gardens, Commerce.  Little-Ward Funeral Home, Commerce, was in charge 
of arrangements.
