After an illness of only four days, Mrs. Catherine Henry died at the home of 
her sister, Mrs. H. W. Gordon near Liberty last Friday, the 17th.  She was 89 
years of age, having been born in Anderson County, SC, on December 30, 1843.
    Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Clyde Smith from Webbs Creek 
Church on Sunday, the 19th, in the presence of many sorrowing friends and 
relatives.  Interment was in the church cemetery.
    The deceased was a charter member of Webbs Creek Church, and had lived a 
Christian since early childhood.  She not only was one of our oldest citizens, 
but one who was loved and respected by all with whom she came in contact 
account of her sweet and gentle disposition.
    Surviving this good woman are the following:  one son, J. J. Henry of New 
Orleans, LA; two brothers, J. P. Wilson and W. G. Wilson; sister, Mrs. Genie 
Gordon and seven grandchildren.
    B. D. Ginn had charge of funeral arrangements.

Husband was William Henry b. May 14, 1836, d. Nov 29, 1885.  Buried at Webbs 
Creek Bapt. Church in Banks County, GA
