MRS. IDA MIZE
Mrs. Ida Eugenia Wilson Mize, 91, widow of the late Joseph Absolem Mize, died 
early Monday morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Truman Blassingame 
after a brief illness.
She was born in Banks County, a daughter of the late James Martin and Emma 
Loucinda Borders Wilson.  She had made her home in Rabun Gap for the past 17 
years, but had lived in Banks County most of her life.
She was a homemaker and a member of Webbs Creek Baptist Church.
Surviving;  3 sons:  J. B. Mize of Central, SC; Preston Mize of Demorest, GA; 
and Robert C. Mize of Rabun Gap, GA.  7 daughters:  Mrs. Ezra (Mae) Wilson of 
Watkinsville, GA; Mrs. Logan (Lillian Ruth) Cannon of St. Petersburg, FL; Mrs. 
B. S. (Emma Dora Lee) Cagle of Gainesville, GA; Mrs. Gordon (Daisy Pearl) 
Greenway of Conyers, GA; Mrs. Kelly (Bertha Irene) Ritchie of Rabun Gap, GA 
and Mrs. Ray (Sarah Elizabeth "Bessie") Kelly of Rabun Gap, GA; Mrs. J. E. 
(Sallie Lou) Rochester of Walhalla, SC and Mrs. Truman (Edna Muriel) 
Blassingame of Toccoa, GA.  One brother, W. A. Wilson of Hialeah, FL and one 
sister, Mrs. J. R. (Dora) Toney of Commerce, GA.  56 grandchildren, 89 great 
grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at Webbs Creek Baptist Church on Tuesday at 4 pm 
with Rev. Garnet Wilson and Rev. Ray Richardson officiating.  Burial was in 
the church cemetery.
Pallbearers were:  Bobby Mize, Sam Kelly, Buddy Rochester, Jimmy Mize, Charles 
Wilson, John Kelly, Donald Kelly and Swain Wilson.
