Kathleen Elizabeth Sawyer Rice, 75, of Maysville, died Friday, November 10, 
2006, at her residence.

She was born in Pima County, Ariz., and was the daughter of the late Oscar 
Silas and Edith Gray Sawyer. She was a retired special needs teacher. Mrs. 
Rice was preceded in death by her husband, George Rice; and a son, James 
Thomas Rice.

Survivors include a son, Jeb Rice, Tampa, Fla.; daughters, Georgia Wells, 
Maysville, Patricia Hopewell, Delray Beach, Fla., and Samantha Fackler, 
Vasser, Mich.; ten grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held at a later date in Vasser, Mich.

Little-Ward Funeral Home, Commerce, is in charge of arrangements.
