W. Pritchett, near Double Churches about one o'clock last Sunday, after an illness of several months. Mr. Roberts was the widow of the late Mr. P. M. Roberts, who preceded her to her grave some 10 years ago, She was a good Christian woman, being a faithful member of the Union Ground Christian church. She was born in Banks county, but had been living in Franklin county for many years. She was beloved by all who knew her and her passing removes another landmark of that noble type of womanhood who went through the trying days of the Civil war. Funeral services were held at Union Ground church Tuesday, June 9, with Rev. R. W. Allison, of Carnesville, officiating. Mrs. Roberts is survived by one son, Mr. John Roberts, of Toccoa, two daughters, Mrs. J. W. Pritchett, of Ashland, and Mrs. P. S. Duncan, of Canon, 24 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren, in addition to a host of other relatives and friends. B. D. Ginn, funeral director, was in charge of arrangements. Additional Comments: Daughter of Henry Pritchett & Eliza Abel Segars Pritchett.
