Maysville, Ga., May 26- William Rylee, a prominent citizen of Banks county, whose home was near this place, died suddenly on Sunday afternoon. Mr. Rylee was over 70 years of age. Mr. Rylee was one of the few remaining ones who went to California in 1849 in search of gold. He accumulated a large amount of wealth and was widely known as a successful businessman. Additional Comments: William Rylee is buried in Gillsville Cemetery. His stone gives his death date as May 25, 1902 and "Age 75 years".
