Greenville News, August 17, 2001
Larry Douglas Segars, 58, of 118 Cely Road, died Wednesday, Aug. 15, 2001, at 
Greenville Memorial Hospital. 

Born in Banks County, Ga., he was a son of Ruby Purcell Segars and the late 
William Elvin Segars. He was owner of Carolina Rod Shop and a member of 
Bethesda United Methodist Church.   Survivors: Sons, Donnie Ball and Andy 
Segars, both of Easley; and brothers, James Segars of Lawrenceville, Ga., and 
Nelson Segars of Stone Mountain, Ga. 

Service: 3 p.m. today at New Salem United Methodist Church, with the Rev. 
Johnny Ray officiating. Burial: Church cemetery. ? Little-Ward Funeral Home.
