EASLEY,S.C.-Larry Douglas Segars, 58, died Wednesday, August 15, 2001, at 
Greenville Memorial.
A native of Banks County, he was born March 23, 1943. He was the son of Ruby 
Purcell Segars, Commerce, and the late William Elvin Segars. He was owner of 
the Carolina Rod Shop and was a member of Bethesda United Methodist Church.
Survivors include two sons, Donnie Ball and Andy Segars, both of Easley, S.C.; 
and two brothers, James Segars, Lawrenceville, and Nelson Segars, Stone 
Mountain.
The funeral was August 17, 2001, at New Salem United Methodist Church with the 
Rev. Johnny Ray officiating. Burial was at the church cemetery. 
Little-Ward Funeral Home, Commerce, was in charge of arrangements.
