R. Segars Dies At Bold Springs Mrs. Lizzie Mize Segars, wife of Mr. T. R. Segars, died at her home in Bold Springs community, Monday, May 19th at the age of 53 years. Funeral and interment took place at Bold SpringsTuesday afternoon at four o'clock with Rev. Wm. e. Purcell, assisted by Rev. J. A. Griffies, officiating. Mrs. Segars was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. T. M. Mize, who were prominent citizens of Bold Springs. She was a member of the church and lived a very useful Christian life and her death removes from the community one of the most beloved and highly respected women. She took an interest in everything that was worthwhile and raised a splendid family by her devotion and love. She is survived by her husband, Mr. T. R. Segars, Six children, Miss Corrine, Messrs. Walter, Omer, Parks, Armelle and M. C. Segars. Three brothers and two sisters also survive her as follows. Rev. Martin Mize, Rev. Ben Mize and Mr. Carl Mize and Mrs. Clarence Crissler, and Mrs. Ruby Ariail. Little and Ward, funeral directors were in charge. The Herald extends sympathy to the bereaved family in the death of their loved one.
