Mrs. Sims
Banks County native

Maysville -- Mrs. Lillie Mealor Sims, 94, died Monday, Feb. 24, 1997, at Willis 
Memorial Hospital. 

A Banks County native, Mrs. Sims was a daughter of the late Bill and Artimissa 
Poe Mealor. She was a homemaker and a member of Maysville Baptist Church. 

Mrs. Sims was preceded in death by her husband, Hoyt Oscar Sims, and two sons, 
Billy and Ed Sims.

Graveside services were held Wednesday, Feb. 26, at Sunrise Cemetery with the 
Rev. Larry Joe Wilbanks officiating.

Survivors include one daughter, Lillian Smith, Washington; one brother, Harris 
Mealor, Madison; two sisters, Sula Brock, Cornelia, and Ossie Mae Sanders, West 
Palm Beach, Fla.; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and one great-
great-grandchild.
