WILLIAM J. BROWNE

WINDER - William J. Browne, 82, died Wednesday, Sept 2, 1992. 

A native fo Connecticut, Mr. Browne was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph 
F. Browne.  He was a retired funeral director and embalmer for the Browne 
Funeral Home, Enfield, Conn.  He was a graduate of McAllister School of 
Embalming and was a U.S. Army Air Corps veteran of World War II.  He was 
married to the late Mary Tarling Browne. 
Survivors include a son, Deane Browne, Winder; a brother, Lawrence Browne, 
Connecticut; a sister, Mary Gallivan, Connecticut; eight grandchildren; two 
great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. 

Wise-Connolly Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
