Funeral Notice (Colored)
Vincent – Mr. Harrison Vincent, jr., of Philadelphia, Penn., died last
Wednesday.  He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Sweetie Kenney Vincent; 3 daughtres
(sic), Miss Hazel Vincent, Mrs. Juanita Suarez, Mrs. Cleolis Richardson of
Philadelphia, Penn.; mother and father, Rev. and Mrs. Harrison Vincent of
Statham, Ga.; four sisters, Mrs. Francis Haygood, Mrs. Bertha Carithers, Mrs.
Lillian Rodgers and Mrs. Magnolia Pendergrass of Statham, Ga.; two brothers, Mr.
Falvin Vincent of Statham, Ga.; Mr. Peter Vincent of Philadelphia, Penn.; aunts
and uncles, Mrs. Emma Lay, Mrs. Susie Rodgers of Statham, Ga.; Mr. Eli Avery of
Jefferson, Ga.; in laws, Mr. John W. Richardson of Philadelphia; Sgt. William L.
Suarez, U.S. Army; Mr. Ambus Rodgers, Mr. Henry Pendergrass, Mr. Julius Haygood,
Mr. R.D. Mack and Mr. D.M. Carithers, all of Statham, Ga.; a host of nieces and
nephews.  The unreal was today, Tuesday, March 23, 1943, at 529 o’clock Barber’s
Creek Baptist church, Statham, Ga.;  Rev. R.A. Hall officiated.  Interment in
church cemetery.  Mack and Payne.
