WOFFORD, of said State and County my true and lawful Attorney, for me, and in my name, and for proper use and benifit, to collect and recieve from proper officer of the United States Government, the Pension which i,m intitled to as the widow of William B. Grant deceased late a Captain in the Georgia Batallion of Infantry Volunteers. May 14, 1849 Signed by her mark in the presence of Silas Bell J.P. Additional Comments: Sarah Grant's Pension was stopped durring the Civil War and re-enstated 1865 Oct. 4, Gordon Co. Ga. after signing an Oath of elegance to the United States and the Union.
