The Georgia Enterprise
     MAJOR and MRS. CHARLES H. SMITH, of Cartersville, but better known as
"BILL ARP" and his wife will celebrate their golden wedding next month at their
Cartersville home. 
The following is from the Cartersville Courant American:
     There has been no event in Cartersville for some time of as much interest 
and importance as will be the golden wedding of Major Charles H. Smith and wife
next month. Over six hundred cards have been sent out, about six hundred of 
these local, and a large crowd and an interesting occasion is what all 
anticipate. The quaint invitation bears the same words as did a similar 
invitation sent out by Major Smith's grandfather.
