The Bartow Tribune
Mrs. Garrett Charles, a bride of only three months, passed away at her home 
near Pine Log Monday night after a brief illness. The funeral was conducted 
Wednesday morning and interment took place at the family burying ground. G.M. 
Jackson & Son, of Cartersville, were in charge of the funeral arrangements.

Before her marriage she was a Miss Kiker,daughter of Mr.& Mrs. W.W. Kiker, a 
prominent farmer of Gordon county,living near Calhoun. Her husband, her father, 
one brother and several sisters survive.

In his irreparable loss the young husband has the sympathy of a wide circle of 
friends.
