Aged Veteran Dies At His Bartow Home
Thomas Dawson, age 86, did Thursday at 10
a.m. at his home on the Cartersville road.
Mr. Dawson was a Confederate veteran and had
long been a resident of Bartow county.  He
is survived by five children. Funeral
services will occur Friday afternoon at the
Euharlee Baptist church, followed by
interment in the adjoining cemetery. Daniel
company has charge of the funeral
arrangements.

Daniel's Funeral Home in Rome had his death
date and burial information.  He died 7
February 1924 at his residence in Bartow Co.
He was 86 and was buried at Euharlee Baptist
Church Cemetery. Daniel's did not have the
names of his parents whom we believe are
John and Mary (Unk) Dawson.  Both are buried
in the Old Macedonia Primitive Baptist
Church 1847 Cemetery, Euharlee, Bartow Co.,
Georgia.  Thanks in advance for any help.
