Mrs. Hufstetler was born in Bartow County, daughter of the late John M. and Francis Cross Earwood. She was a member of the Oak Grove Baptist Church. Mrs. Hufstetler is survived by her husband, Adam W. Hufstetler of Adairsville; three daughters, Mrs. Clarence Bell of Rydal, Mrs. Maynard Smith of White and Mrs. Fain King of Cartersville; four sons, Joel Hufstetler of Calhoun, Almon Hufstetler of Adairsville, Sam Hufstetler of Plainville and Eugene Hufstetler of Adairsville; four sisters, Mrs. Arthur Andrews of Cartersville, Mrs. Y. H. Cantrell and Mrs. Walton Denning, both of Acworth and Mrs. Harvey Silvers of Fairmount; one brother, C. J. Earwood of Atco; 22 grandchildren, eight great grand-children, nieces and nephews also survived. Funeral services were held Tuesday, April 30, at 3 p.m. from Oak Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Harvey Silvers officiating. Active pallbearers were Larry Bell, Ronald Smith, Ronnie Hufstetler, Randy Hufstetler, Jerry Hufstetler and Terry King. Honorary pallbearers were John Smith, Eugene Smith, A. W. Hufstetler, Bennie Hufstetler, Mitchell Hufstetler, Gary Hufstetler, David Hurstetler, Don King, and Ray King. Interment was in Wofford Cross Roads Cemetery near White.
