The Cherokee Advance (Canton, GA)   22 April 1887 p 3
Mrs. Sallie McConnell, relict of Judge McConnell, died last Saturday at Acworth 
and was buried last Monday at New Hope grave yard. She was about eighty years old 
and for many years a citizen of this county. She leaves many relatives who will 
mourn the death of this good old lady.
