State News Items

T.R. Welch, a prominent farmer residing near Adairsville, while alighting from 
his wagon last Thursday afternoon in some manner became entangled with a rope 
attached to the brake of the wagon, was thrown on his head, which fractured the 
skull and caused death instantly.
