MORTUARY.

Dr. G. Banks Pledger, of Emerson, Ga., died January 2 at his residence.  He was 
a brother to Mrs. W. B. Freeman and Mrs. Sam Weekes, of this city.  He was a 
grandson of Dr. Henry Banks, of Gainesville, one of the best known opticians of 
that section.  He is survived by his wife and two children.
