She was a Baptist, a native of Bartow County, and was the daughter of the late Oliver and Omie Dawson Tate. Survivors include a sister-in-law, Mrs. Rena Moore Tate, Canton; and a number of nieces and nephews. Graveside services were held at 3 p.m. in the Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery, with the Rev. Charles Moore officiating. Owen Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
