For several years he has been employed by the Woodstock Iron Company as Superintendant of the Iron furnaces of the company in this city. He was a man of great energy and while unable to be out of his room, inisted upon superintending the improvements being made on number one furance and in this way contracted the illness that cost him his life. He was about sixty-five years of age and leaves a wife and several children. His remains were carried Wednesday to Cartersville, Ga., his old home, for interment.
