He lived from 23 Mar 1825 to 2 Apr 1886. He is buried in the Pleasant Valley Baptist Church Cemetery in Adairsville, GA. I obtained the photo from Dr Ken Jarrett (not me) who lives in Athens, Ga and is a retired teacher. NATHANIEL WRIGHT JARRETT (MAR.23,1825-APR 2,1886) WAS SECTION FOREMAN OF THE GEORGIA RAILROAD NEAR STONE MOUNTAIN BEFORE THE CIVIL WAR. HE CAME TO GORDON COUNTY IN 1837. HE WAS CAPTURED DURING THE CIVIL WAR WITHIN ONE MILE OF HIS HOME NEAR SANORAVILLE, GA. BY THE YANKEES AND WAS CARRIED TO INDIANA. HE SENT FOR HIS WIFE AND CHILDREN WHO CAME TO HIM ON A ONE-HORSE WAGON. THEY LIVED IN INDIANA FOUR YEARS THEN RETURNED TO GORDON COUNTY, GA. AND WAS LIVING THERE IN THE 1870 CENSUS, BUT HE DIED IN BARTOW COUNTY, GA.
