James Frances Armstrong born December 7, 1826, in North Carolina. Came to 
Georgia before 1850, lived in Cass, Cherokee and Bartow Counties. Married Nancy 
Francis Addington, January 11, 1850.
James F. Armstrong lived near Adairsville, Bartow County. Died March 17, 1887, 
is buried in Popular Springs Cemetery, grave site not located, may be unmarked 
grave, or located in wooded section.
