I, Virginia Sansom of said state and county, being of sound mind and memory, and desiring to make a testamentary disposition of the property with which a kind providence has blessed me do make, endores, publish and declare the foregoing as my last will and testement, hereby revoking any and all other wills by me formerly made. The amount of my personal estate is (17)seventeen shares of Georgia Rail Road stock and one thousand ($1000) due to me and owing from J.W. BEARDEN of Morgan County to secure which loan I haveand hold a note given upon a piece of land in Morgan Co., Ga. and two hundred dollars and interest loaned to George Stovall of Morgan County, Georgia. Item L. The persons hereinafter amed and appointed by me to executre this my will shallproceed to collect from the said George W. Stovall the two hundred dollars and interest which he owest to me and having collected it shall pay over to Miss Clem Turnell of Morgan County Georgia one hundred dollars there of whichshe shall hold in trust for the benefit of the (Virginia B. Sansom) Warrens Foreign Missionary Society of Myorsin, Morgan Co., Georgia. The said trustee shall immediately pay over to said society the yearly interest on said one hundred dollars so requested. And shal also of saaid sum pay over one hundred dollars thereof to Miss Mary Trammel who shall hold the amount in trust for the purpose of annually paying the yearly interest thereon to Reverend William Baker of Tennessee who shall donate said interest to support of scripture holdings. Upon the death of the said WILLIAM BAKER, the said MARY TRAMMELL shall use the said interest on said sum for the same purpose in any way she may desire. If on occassion of any cause the sum of two hundred dollars should not be realized on the debt of G. W. STOVALL, then whatever amount is realized shall be paid and divided equally to CLEM TRAMMEL AND MARY TRAMMEL for the purpose mentioned in this my will. Item 2. The one thousand dollars and interest due from J.W. BEARDEN and the seventeen shares of Ga. RR stock and dividends thereon I give and bequeath unto my nieces MARY TRAMMELL, CHERRY TRAMMEL, MATTIE TURNER and my three sisters AMERICA PITTARD, AND DELILAH DISMUKE AND CLEMMIE PAINE. My executrix shall pay sister AMERICA PITTARD annually the income arising frome her proportionate part of said sums herein by this item bequested during her life and upon her death shall pay the corpus of said proportionate share to NETTIE DISMUKE, only daughter of said AMERICA PITTARD. And my executrix shal in like manner pay annually to sister CLEMMIE PAINE the income arising from her proportionate part of the sum herein by this item bequested during her life and upon her death shall pay the corpus as body of said proporionate share to ANTONICE R. MAYFIELD her only daughter, who shall turn the same sum from her husband's control. In the event of the death of said NETTIE DISMUKE AND ANTONICE R. MAYFIELD or either of them before the death of their mother then the share so herein bequested to that Mother shall resort to and become part of mygeneral estate upon the death of that mother. all the other beneficiaries named in this item of my will shall take hence and enjoy their proportionate part of this secure her use by this item bequested absolutely. Item 3. I give and bequest my piano to MARY TRAMMEL. Item 4. I give and bequest my bed mattress, pillow, brest pins and watch to CHERRY TRAMMEL. Item 5. My old clothes are to be equally divided between the beneficiaries named in the second issue of this will. Item 6. I give and bequest to sister NANCY TRAMMEL my mothers pictures and albums and any of my clothing she may desire. Item 7. I give and bequest my watch chain to MATTIE TRAMMEL. Item 8. I give and bequest my largest trunk to sister AMANDA LISTER (LESTER).I would say to sister AMANDA LISTER and sister MOLLIE SANSOM that I love them just as much as if I had given them my estate and I would like for them to select anything out of my clothing they may wish to keep as a token of remembrance. Item 9. I wish and desire that the interest on the two hundred dollars comeing from G. W. STOVALL and the interest on the onethousand dollars due from J. W. BEARDEN may be used to defray the expenses of my last sickness and to pay whatever may be oweing by me. By this I mean the interest collected from said parties oweing collected from said parties oweing said sums, if this be not enought for the purpose indicated, then let so much of the dividend on the rail road stock as may be necessary be used for this purpose. I give this direction in order that the body of the sums I have herein before bequested may not be broken. Item 10. I hereby nominate and appoint MARY TRAMMEL AND CLEM TRAMMEL to executre this my will who shall not charge any compensation for so doing. In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 6th day of September, 1881. VIRGINIA B. SANSOM. To us to be the last will and testament in our presence and we signed the same as witnessing in her presence and in the presence of each then at her special instance and request this 6th day of September 1881, the words "two" being stricken and "three" first interlined on the third page the said will containing within five pages.
