W T Wofford Executor of Mrs. Sarah Grant State of Georgia Gordon Co.
In the name of God in whom I trust, I SARAH GRANT being aged but sound of mind 
and memory make this my last Will and Testament. Item 1st After my death and 
burial, I want my executor to pay all my just debts if I should owe any. Item 
2nd I give unto all my children and to the children of those who are or may be 
dead at the time of my death share alike one hundred and fifteen acres that I 
now posess of lot of land two hundred and ninety five (295) lying in the 24th 
Dist. and second section of said County. Item 3rd I give to my daughter 
Margaret Jane and my son Andrew Jackson Grant, lot of land two hundred and 
ninety six and if either of them should die without children then the half 
interest of the deceased shall decend to the one living, and neither shall take 
in said land but one estate for life and at their death the same to go to their 
children. Item 4th I give to my daughter Margaret Jane Grant 1 bed and bedding, 
1 table, 1 loom, 1 wheel, 1 heifer cow and my household and cooking utensels. 
Item 5th I give to my son Andrew Jackson Grant one bay horse.  Item 6th I give 
unto all my children who may be in life at the time of my death and to the 
children of those who are or may be dead at the time of my death all my other 
property not herein named. Item 7th I hereby appoint my relative W.T. Wofford 
my executor   I Sarah Grant publish and execute this as my last Will and 
Testament   August 23, 1880  Sarah Grant X he mark
