Cemetery is on the left, and is accessible. Other roads next to it have gates. The cemetery is very well kept. There are many unmarked graves, some granite memorial markers have been placed for the known persons buried there. At one time, the cemetery was mapped out with lanes which were probably used to document ownership and location of gravesites. Markings on clay bricks remaining in place indicate that the front row was designated as 400 with the fourth or rear row being 100. The gravesite of my Great Great Grandparents is circled by a small iron fence and the headstone is turned around backwards. Several names are recognized from THE HISTORY OF IRWIN COUNTY by J. B. Clements, as being soldiers in the Confederate States of America, with some having service markers. Several members of the original Dorminys Mill Baptist Church, founded 1896, are buried here. Spelling variations are: Wilcox/Willcox, Matthews/Mathews, Ryals/Rials, Hanes/Haynes/Haines/Hains/Hane/Hayns/Hynes (entered for search engine purposes ). Watkins, Martha M. - Wife of Enoch H.
