KATHLEEN - Betty Sue Groves, 60, passed away on Wednesday, December 5, 2007 
after 12-year battle with breast cancer. She died at Serenity Gate Hospice, 
Perry, Georgia surrounded by her family. -Mrs. Groves was born on August 9, 
1947 in Ben Hill County, Georgia to Florence Barfield and Aaron Barfield. She 
lived all of her life in Macon and Kathleen, Georgia. She loved her family 
very much and there was nothing she would not do for them. Until her health 
got bad, she enjoyed yard work, traveling, camping, and loved her 
grandchildren. -She is survived by her husband of 28 years, Kenneth Groves, 
Kathleen, Georgia; two daughters, Karla Honeycutt (Anthony), Perry, Georgia, 
and Michele Stover, Kathleen, Georgia; sons, Aaron Gay (Jennifer), Macon, 
Georgia; father, Aaron Barfield, Macon, Georgia; sister, Delores Touchton 
(Danny), Jones County, Georgia; brother, Cleve Barfield (Carol), Macon, 
Georgia; stepdaughter, Candy Suggs; stepson, Jason Groves; eight grand 
children, four great-grandchildren, four step-grandchildren, and one step- 
great-grandchildren. -She was predeceased by her mother, Florence Barfield; 
one great-granddaughter, Remington "Remi" Jane Honeycutt; one great-grandson, 
Kenneth "Lil' Brad" Bradley Honeycutt, Jr.; parents-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Orie 
Hughes, Jr.; both of her grandparents. -Visitation will be Thursday, December 
6, 2007 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Services will be 
held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, December 7, 2007, in the chapel of McCullough 
Funeral Home with interment following in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. In lieu 
of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Heart of Georgia Hospice, 
103 Westridge Drive, Warner Robins, GAŹ 31088. -Go to www.mcculloughfh.com to
