Paulk Funeral Home
Sewell E. Gunter, 92, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Thursday, January 1, 2004, at
Coffee Regional Medical Center.

Funeral services will be held at 11am, Monday, January 5, 2004, at the Paulk
Funeral Home Chapel, Fitzgerald with Rev. David Price officiating. Interment
will follow in Antioch Cemetery, Wilcox County. Visitation will be from 7:00
until 9:00pm Sunday evening at the funeral home.

Mr. Gunter was born November 16, 1911, in Oglethorpe County, Georgia, to the
late Jimmy and Mary Boggs Gunter and was also preceded in death by his wife,
Ruby Swann Gunter. He lived in the community most of his life. He was a former
employee of Fitzgerald Mills and a former custodian for Lynwood School and for
Ben Hill County. Mr. Gunter was a member of the Fitzgerald Church of God.

Mr. Gunter is survived by two sons; D.W. Gunter, Alvaton, Ga. and Nathaniel
Gunter, Fitzgerald; foster daughter; Joyce Hall, Fitzgerald; 10 grandchildren,
22 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren.
