The Tifton Gazette 1-13-1940
                             Mrs. Sarah Nicholls
 Funeral services over the body of Mrs. Sarah Nicholls, 42, whose death 
occurred Friday in Milledgeville were conducted this morning from the Funeral 
Parlor of the Home Furniture Company at 11 o'clock, with Rev. P. U. Waters 
officiating.
 She is survived by her husband, J. E. Nicholls of Albany and several children.

NOTE--Her death certificate lists Tift County as the place of death and the 
cemetery marker, which is new, lists 14 Jan 1940 as time of death versus 12 
Jan 1940 on the death certificate.

Additional Comments:
Sarah was born 9 Feb 1896 to James Andrew Townsend and Georgia Ann Tyson 
Townsend. Georgia death certificate #41.
