 Ronald O’Quinn, 81, of Fitzgerald died March 16, 2013, at Phoebe-Dorminey 
Medical Center in Fitzgerald.
 Born May 31, 1931, in Berrien County to the late Mallie Jones and Mae Blanton 
O’Quinn, he attended Pleasant Primitive Baptist Church and had lived in 
Fitzgerald for many years.
 Survivors include his sister and brother-in-law, Betty and Jake Willis, and 
two sisters-in-law, Ruby O’Quinn and Nancy O’Quinn, all of Valdosta; several 
nieces and nephews, David Vedas, Jon Vedas, Felicia Pye, Kevin Vedas, Scott 
O’Quinn. Faye Turner, Diane Hester, and Vickie Price. In addition to his 
parents, he was preceded in death by his twin brother, Donald O’Quinn and 
another brother, M.B. O’Quinn.
 A graveside service was held March 18 at 2 p.m. at Pleasant Cemetery in 
Berrien County with Elder Gordon Smith officiating. The congregation 
sang “Amazing Grace” and “Angel Band.”
 Boone Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
