Frances L. Brown

   The funeral service for Frances L. Brown of Fitzgerald,who died 
Sunday, September 8,1996 at Dorminy Medical Center, was held 
Tuesday,September 10. She was 76.
   Dr. Gene WiIder officiated at the graveside before interment in 
Evergreen Cemetery at 2:00 P.m.
  The deceased was born July 3,1920 in Fitzgerald to Thomas Lewis and 
Bobbie Dykes Lester.  Associated with husband at Beauty Bob Beauty Shop 
for 50 years and a member of First Baptist Church, Mrs. Brown has lived 
in Fitzgerald most of her  life: She was a Welder at the
 shipyards in Brunswick during WWII. She was a member of the bridge club.
She is survived by husband,John Y. Brown of Fitzgerald;
one daughter: Brenda B. Davis of Louisville, KY; two brothers:Tom Lester 
of Fitzgerald and Jack Lester of
Birmingham, AL;two sisters: Ann Stillman of Virginia Beach, VA and 
Mildred Smith of Jackson, MS;2 granddaughters.
Paulk Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
