Doris G. Colson

  The funeral service for Doris G. Colson of Osierfield, who died April 
17, 1997 at Dorminy Medical Center, was held Saturday, April 19 at Paulk 
Funeral Home Chapel in Fitzgerald. She was 77.
  Rev. Don Woeltjen officiated at the 2:00 p.m. service with interment 
in Osierfield Cemetery.
  Pallbearers were Howard Bishop, Aubrey Harper, Dan
 Glenn, Zeke Merritt,Lee McCaulry and Allen Glenn.
 Organist was Latrell Bagley.
  The deceased was born December 8, 1919 in Carroll
 county, GA to Floyd Henry and Bell Eason Glenn and was a retired 
bookkeeper and accountant. The widow of Eugene
 Madison Colson and member of Pinelevel United Methodist
 Church, Mrs. Colson had lived in the community most of her life. She 
was a former employee of the ASCS and Robins Air Force Base.
 She is survived by son and daughter-in-law: Glenn and Linda Colson of 
Osierfield; one granddaughter: Rebekkah Colson of Osierfield; one great 
grandson: Jackie Floyd Eugene Colson of Osierfield.
 Paulk Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
