Ronnie Prescott 

Mr. Prescott was born January 30, 1950	 in Fitzgerald, the. son of John and 
Myrtle Prescott. He was a carpenter and general contractor with Dorminy 
Brothers Land and cattle Company of Fitzgerald.  Mr. Prescott had lived in the 
community all of his life.  He was a member of the Running  Deer Hunting Club 
and a member and former Trustee of Pine Level United  Methodist Church.
He was preceded in death by his father and mother.
Survivors include one daughter, Leah Pitts of Savannah; two sons, David 
Prescott and Alan ,Prescott, both of
Fitzgerald; two grandchildren; five brothers, Robert Prescott of Hollywood, AL, 
John Prescott of Watkinsville, Billy 
Prescott, Jerry Prescott and. Randy Prescott, all of Fitzgerald; three sisters 
Betty Jones of Mystic, Shirlie Vilt of San 
Antonio, TX and Sandra Gamer of  Fitzgerald.
Services were held at Pine Level United Methodist Church, Ben Hill County, on 
Saturday, August 8, at 11 a.m., with Rev. Randy Daniell and Rev. Johnny Miller 
officiating.
Pallbearers were Roger Coleman, Dick Milligan, Mike Biggers, Jeff Rineair,Kenny 
Davis and.Bobby Ellis.
Music was provided by Edwina Willcox on the keyboard; Donna Sheffield, soloist 
and Dean Bishop, Mattie Wilson and Wynell Hickey, singers.
A poem was read by the daughter, Leah Pitts.
Interment was held at Pine Level Cemetery. 
Paulk Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to a trust fund set up for the two 
sons, clo The Community Bank, Fitzgerald.
