Debra Bishop Prescott

 Mrs. Debra Bishop Prescott of Fitzgerald died Wednesday, August 5, 1998, in 
Fitzgerald. She was 40.
Mrs. Prescott was born August 1, 1958,the daughter of Dennis and Joyce Bishop.  
She was a Para-Professional in Physical Education at Ben Hill Elementary 
School. Mrs. Prescott had lived in the community all of her life. She was a 
member of the Ladies Circle at Pine Level and served as Communion Steward at 
the church. Mrs Prescott was also a Ben Hill County School bus driver. 
Survivors include two sons Prescott and Alan Prescott, both of Fitzgerald; one 
daughter, Leah Pitts of Savannah; two grandchildren; her parents, Dennis and 
Joyce Bishop of Fitzgerald; three sisters, Delene Clark and Jan Clements, both 
of Fitzgerald and, Sharon Tucker of Haddock and one brother, Frank Bishop of 
Augusta.
Services were held at Pine Level United Methodist Church, Ben Hill County, on 
Saturday, August 8, at 11 a.m., with Rev. Randy Daniell and Rev. Johnny Miller 
officiating.
Pallbearers were Danny Stone, Buddy Barrentine, Harold Brown, Jack Collier, 
Tommy Clark and Frank Bishop.
Music was provided by Edwina Willcox, on the keyboard; Donna Sheffield, soloist 
and Dean Bishop, Mattie Wilson and Wynell Hickey, singers.
A poem was read by the daughter, Leah Pitts.	
Interment was held at Pine Level Cemetery. 
Paulk Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
